When traveling through Mariner Bay, they combine to form a special single file line-up formation (1 is the first car and 5 is the last) and use the local train tracks for travel.Įach Rail Rescue was based off of a different type of train car. They consist of five train cars that can store the Rescuezords or Omegazords. The Rail Rescues are the secondary Zords (although they were first introduced in "Lightspeed Teamwork" before the Lightspeed Rescue Zords), mainly functioning as carrier Zords. TV STORY- Rise of the Super Demons Rail Rescues In the final battle against Super Demons Diabolico and Olympius, it is piloted by Chad but its arm is dismantled due to the heavy amounts of damage it takes and therefore loses a massive amount of power, rendering it useless. Soon after, the new Omega Megazord renders it and the Lightspeed Megazord obsolete. The Supertrain Megazord was badly damaged by Diabolico (via blowing a hole right through the Megazord's gut) but it is not destroyed and is easily repaired later on. Although it came dangerously close to self-destruction, it pulled through and annihilated the two revived monsters. TV STORY- Lightspeed TeamworkĮventually, Magmavore and Trifire are revived in new forms by the newly arrived Queen Bansheera that prove too much for the Lightspeed Megazord to handle, so Miss Fairweather was forced to resort to this untested combination. The Rail Rescues were originally invented to only transport the Rescuezords into battle using the railroad tracks throughout Mariner Bay. Rail Rescues being pulled by Max Solarzord Its finisher was the Turbine Supercharge where it charges its train-head-formed weapons up with energy before pressing against the monster with energy blasts from Rail Rescue 1's train head and finishing them with a barrage of missiles from Rail Rescue 2's train head.Īppearances: LR Episodes 10, 12, 14-16, 23, 27, 32, 33, 38 At first, the Megazord was almost twice as tall as its opponents, until some later monsters were grown even larger (by way of Jinxer's special growth cards) to combat it. The Supertrain Megazord had a shoulder-mounted missile launcher stored onto the right shoulder or transferred for use onto the right arm and a train head-formed and turbine-like gun stored onto the left shoulder or transferred for use onto the left arm at its disposal, both formed from the front sections of Rail Rescues 1 and 2, known as the Gatling Blasters which fire ice missiles cold enough to freeze volcanos and a salvo of missiles and energy blasts strong enough to destroy Trifire. During its initial battle, the Megazord nearly tore itself apart, overloading twice by using its weapons. Unfortunately, due to the massive output needed to power the Zords once the Megazord is formed, the Supertrain often overloaded itself which resulted in the Rangers being injured from within the cockpit. Rail Rescues 1 and 2 formed the arms and shoulder-stored weapons, Rail Rescue 3 formed the upper legs, torso and head, and Rail Rescues 4 and 5 formed the lower legs: Rail Rescue 4 forming the left leg and Rail Rescue 5 forming the right leg. The rangers were later joined by a sixth ranger, the Titanium Ranger, giving the rangers the extra man and power they needed. As the Rail Rescues were large enough to house the Lightspeed Rescuezords, the Supertrain Megazord was substantially larger than the other Megazords. Fairweather and the guidance of Captain Mitchell helped the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers fight off the Demons. The rescue group Lightspeed recruited five Power Rangers. They want to reclaim what was their territory, now Mariner Bay. Synopsis for Power Rangers (2000) Lightspeed Rescue Demons are awoken in 2000.
